Serving McKees Rocks
Hair salon and wellness spa near McKees Rocks
About five miles west, and no bridge in it. Certified-organic color, a full wellness spa in the same building, free parking at the door and appointments until 8pm.
Getting here
Five miles west, and you never cross the river
Worth saying first, because it catches people out: you do not need the McKees Rocks Bridge. That one carries you over to the North Side, which is the opposite direction. We are west of you on the same bank of the Ohio, so the whole trip stays on your side of the water. About five miles, and ten to fifteen minutes in ordinary traffic.
Two sensible ways to do it. Chartiers Avenue out to Route 51 and onto I-79 for a stop, or straight out on Steubenville Pike, which becomes the main commercial run through Robinson and brings you almost to the door. The Pike is the simpler one to describe and the one most people end up using.
Our end of it is Chauvet Drive, a short commercial street tucked off 376 by the Mall at Robinson, with Urban Air and Low Key Taco on the same run. Once you are at the mall you are ninety seconds away.

Why people make the drive
What five miles buys you
The first thing is the pace. Appointments here are built around one person rather than a queue, which is why the spa has its own curtained rooms and why nobody is working to a fifteen-minute slot. If your experience of a salon is being processed, this will not feel like that.
The second is what is in the bowl. Our color is certified-organic and ammonia-free as the standard rather than as an upgrade, because we are a NATULIQUE concept salon and it is what we use on everyone. No fumes, no stinging scalp, and the same range on the shelf to take home.
The third is that the salon and the spa are the same building. Color and a head spa, a cut and a facial, hair and a pedicure: one trip, one car park, one afternoon. Five miles is a short drive, but it is still a drive, and it should buy you more than a haircut.

Questions from the Rocks
Do I need to cross the McKees Rocks Bridge?
No, and it would take you the wrong way. That bridge crosses to the North Side. We are west of you on the same bank, so there is no bridge and no tunnel on this trip.
How long does it take?
About five miles and ten to fifteen minutes in ordinary traffic. Steubenville Pike is the straightforward route; Chartiers Avenue to Route 51 and I-79 is the other.
Is there parking?
Free, directly outside the door. We are on Chauvet Drive rather than in the mall itself, so no deck, no meter and no walk at the end.
Can I book hair and spa in the same visit?
Yes, and for a five-mile drive it is the sensible way to do it. Tell us when you book and we will put the appointments back to back.
