Getting here

Five miles, and most of it is the hill

Coraopolis sits down on the Ohio and we are up on the plateau behind the airport corridor, which is the only thing that makes this trip feel longer than it is. It is about five miles to our door. From the newer end of town out by Market Place Boulevard you are here in under ten minutes. From the old borough streets down by the river, allow ten to fifteen, because you are climbing the whole way.

The quickest line is Thorn Run Road or Montour Run Road up to I-376, then east a couple of exits to the Robinson exits. If you would rather not join the parkway for four minutes, Narrows Run Road and University Boulevard take you up the same hill on surface roads, and Campbells Run Road brings you in off Steubenville Pike from the other side.

We are on Chauvet Drive, the short commercial street set back off 376 near the Mall at Robinson. If you come up this way for the mall, for Settlers Ridge or for the airport, you already pass the end of our street.

What we do

Everything, in one building

Cutting and color on the salon side, head spa and foot rituals on the other. If you have made the drive up, you can do both in one visit rather than two.

Why people drive up

You already come up this way

Almost everything Coraopolis drives out for is on this plateau: the mall, Settlers Ridge, the big-box run along Steubenville Pike, the airport. We are three minutes off the same road. Which means an appointment here does not have to be a trip of its own, it can sit on the end of the one you were making anyway.

What you get for the climb is a salon built around certified-organic, ammonia-free color as the standard rather than the upgrade. Being a NATULIQUE concept salon is the whole of the reason: the certified-organic line is not a shelf in the corner, it is the stock. The room smells of nothing much, which is not what people expect. If color has ever left your scalp sore, that is the difference you would notice first.

And the spa is in this building, not across town. A head spa, a facial or a pedicure can sit in the same visit as your color, which is worth more when you have driven up the hill to get here.

Leneah does a great job. She is very knowledgeable about the products and knows what is best for your skin. Also the facial is so relaxing and my face feels so rejuvenated afterwards.
Danielle Dragoo
This place really makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in! And the stylist was so nice and attentive, going above and beyond to make my hair perfect, and actually listening to what I wanted.
Kendra Whitaker
Katelyn has also been doing my hair for a decade, and she is the absolute best in Pittsburgh if you want your blonde to be bright & beautiful.

Before you come

Questions we get from down the hill

How far is it from Coraopolis?

About five miles. Under ten minutes from the Market Place Boulevard end of town, and ten to fifteen from the older borough streets down by the river, because that end is a climb the whole way.

Do I have to get on the parkway?

No. Narrows Run Road and University Boulevard bring you up on surface roads in much the same time. I-376 saves a few minutes at most, and only if the Robinson exits are behaving.

Where do I park once I am up there?

Right outside, for nothing. Chauvet Drive is its own street rather than part of the mall, so the car is twenty feet from the chair.

Can I get hair and spa done in one trip?

Yes, and if you are coming up from the valley it is the sensible way to do it. Say so when you book and we will build the appointments back to back.
